The World is a Beautiful Place

And cancer patients understand the importance of the small things in life.  Things that others often take for granted.

While there are many noble goals to achieve in life, sometimes just to have the opportunity to do something that we love is goal enough.

Every day the radio and the TV may tell you what is wrong, this page is dedicated to "sharing" the things that are "right" with our world.

The small thing; the thing of joy; the things that make our days "reasons to get better"...

A baby is God's opinion that the world should go on... ( Carl Sandburg)

To get to see and enjoy my six month old grand-daughter every day is goal enough for me...
(a three year cancer survivor)

Frank and his wife Phylis also continue to travel the world.  The picture below was taken in Norway.

Who can say, what led us to this miracle we've found ... There are those who'd bet ... Love comes but once - and yet ... I'm oh so glad we met ... The second time around... (Sammy Cahn)

Del Shilling (a 3 year head and neck cancer survivor) claims that the family connection is the strongest reason for any of us to “get better”… to be able to spend more days with those we love is #1.

Then… of course, it sometimes happens that we might fall in love again in our recovery --- Life is good.

Of all the home remedies, to have a good wife and loving children, is the best... (Kin Hubbard)

Joe Lapides, (a three year head and neck cancer survivor) says: "I have many reasons to get and stay better. But the most important reason are my wife (Arsineh) and my children (Shant and Shara)!"

"I also am blessed to have the opportunity to help others who are going through the fight against this disease."
